Cultivated for centuries, Shikuwasa is a unique citrus fruit endemic to Okinawa. The origin of the name comes from the Okinawan words for sour (shī) and feeding (kuwasa). Nobiletin is a citrus flavonoid, found in Shikuwasa fruits. It is well-known in Okinawa for its longevity-promoting, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. 


Antioxidant: Nobiletin is a polymethoxylated flavone (PMF). PMF compounds like nobiletin have been proven to be effective in protecting against free radicals and cellular damage.  


Neuroprotection: Nobiletin has been found to promote and heal nerve and brain growth. 


Immune Support: Premium Gold Shikuwasa Powder is packed with Vitamin C, which helps fight free radicals as well as promotes white blood cell growth, which is essential in fighting infection. 


Skin Health: Vitamin C directly goes to the skin, protecting the skin’s barriers by acting as an antioxidant. 


Dysuria-easing: Shikuwasa has been proven to ease symptoms of Dysuria (painful urination)
